The Traveling Grate is the main equipment used in the "Traveling Grate—Rotary Kiln" process for roasting pellets. It is a non-standard large-scale metallurgical pellet machine and is a special device in which a large chain operates under high-temperature conditions. Its main function is to take the pellets made by the pelletizer and, through this machine, dry and preheat them at high temperatures to give the pellets a certain strength. Then, via the kiln tail chute, the pellets are sent into the Rotary Kiln for roasting, ensuring the pellets meet quality requirements and producing qualified pellet ore.
