The 11th G20 Summit (hereinafter referred to as the "G20 Summit") will be held in Hangzhou in early September. It is reported that the countries involved in the G20 summit account for about 90% of the global GDP, trade accounts for more than 80% of the global trade, and the population accounts for about 2/3 of the global population. The importance and influence of the G20 Summit are self-evident. At the same time, the G20 summit in China will also be an important opportunity for China to show its global leadership to the world.

In order to ensure the smooth convening of the G20 summit, various industries are actively making efforts. Among them, as an important part of the guarantee work, ambient air quality is the top priority. For the protection of ambient air quality, the industrial manufacturing industry is the first among them, and the cement industry is also taking active action:

● Cement enterprises in Jiaxing City, Huzhou City, Hangzhou City, Ningbo City, Shaoxing City, Jinhua City, Quzhou City and other regions in Zhejiang Province have received relevant instructions to stop production before August 24, and start kiln and mill production after September 7, with a guarantee period of 15 days.

● Nanjing cement company in Jiangsu Province stopped production; Key emission enterprises in Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou have reduced their emissions of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, soot and volatile organic compounds by more than 50%. Key exhaust emission enterprises in Taizhou, Yangzhou and Zhenjiang have reduced their emissions of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, soot and volatile organic compounds by more than 20%.

According to the protection area requirements of the G20 Summit Construction System Environmental Quality Assurance Work Plan issued by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the core area, strict control area and control area shall be designated according to the reference radius of 50 km, 100 km and 300 km, with Hangzhou as the center. Cement and other industrial enterprises to ensure the environmental quality of production is mainly concentrated in Hangzhou, Jiaxing, Ningbo, Huzhou and other 11 cities. However, due to the characteristics of regional transmission of air pollution, the cement industry in the neighboring provinces of Zhejiang has also begun to wage an environmental protection war and actively escort the environment for the G20 Summit.

According to estimates, Hangzhou 300 kilometers of cement enterprises are mainly distributed in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shanghai, the "four provinces and one city" affected cement production capacity accounted for more than 50% of the total regional capacity, Zhejiang as the core area will be completely shut down. Not only that, in addition to the above "four provinces and one city", recently, Shandong, Henan and other provinces have also launched the G20 summit to limit production, helping the summit air security work.

Help "West Lake Blue" and pour a touch of blue into the sky... The cement industry actively responded to the call of the government, earnestly implemented the environmental air quality assurance work, and joined hands with a high sense of industry responsibility to escort the G20 Summit.
